It has been fantastic to see how quickly students have settled into their classes and their learning in Term 2.
A reminder that all students in Year 7 and 9 will sit the Australia wide NAPLAN assessments from next week. Whilst there are set days for the disciplines of reading, writing, language conventions and numeracy, catch up days are scheduled for students who are absent on these days.
*Students are reminded to bring their laptop and headphones to all NAPLAN sessions.

Tuesday 10th May - Reading assessment:
Session 1 & 2 - Year 7
Session 3 & 4 - Year 9
Wednesday 11th May – Writing assessment

Thursday 12th May – Catch up Writing Sessions for students who were away (all day)
Friday 13th May – Language Conventions Spelling/grammar/punctuation

Monday 16th May – Numeracy

Withdrawing your child from NAPLAN
NAPLAN tests are a routine part of the school calendar. However students may be withdrawn from the testing program by their parent or carer for reasons such as religious beliefs, or philosophical objections to testing. If you wish to withdraw your child please email stacie.lundberg@education.vic.gov.au or call the school 5891 2000 to discuss.
