Talent Quest
Term 2 was kicked off by a fantastic display of Koonung talent in the annual Talent Quest. Peter Hodkinson and his team of student leaders put together a terrific line up of song, dance and instrumental splendor for the Koonung community to enjoy. All the acts showed an amazing amount of courage and skill in various disciplines. A big thank you to the student leaders for all their effort in getting the Talent Quest off the ground and massive congratulations to all those who performed.
Here are just two examples of the performances at the talent quest:

Year 8 Coordinator
Coordinator for Student Engagement of Vulnerable Cohorts
Musical Production Manager
Feedback from one of our teachers:
A huge congratulations to Chelsea Thomas and the band of people that supported her for the talent quest. It is so good to have students be able to not just showcase talents but for everyone to enjoy them – it has been too long since the last talent quest at KSC.
I was fortunate to witness the excellent performances during period 2. Not only do the performers need recognition for such willingness to be on stage to demonstrate quality skills and talents but to the audience who were fully attentive, appreciative and supportive. The student leaders, who were the back stage crew, were outstanding!
Once again – well done to all and I cannot wait for the upcoming play 'The Election' (apt title for what is approaching on May 21) and the production later in the year.
We have great students and staff at KSC!!
