Although the week is ending with some more rain, we have enjoyed the sunshine for a few days and noticed the amount of fodder growing at an exponential rate. We are heartened to generally see the crops all over the state doing extremely well and we hope this trend continues through to harvest.

Up Coming Excursion/Incursion

Tomorrow we have a few activities occurring, the Narrogin Equine Challenge which will see 16 competitors and three staff make the journey to Narrogin to compete in this annual event. Thanks must go to all the families who support this event to transport both horses and students across for the day. Good luck to everyone involved.

We also have Stacey Carter coming to the College to talk about the Associate Degree in Agribusiness run through Curtin University at the Muresk Institute each year. This might be an option for some of our Year 11 and 12 students who will receive materials and details regarding the course.

Today Mr Millichamp invited Andrew Cunningham to the Beef Hub to assist in training our Year 10 students for the Dinninup Show. All Year 10 students will be attending the show and the expectation is that each student will participate in some form of judging competition, either sheep or cattle…..or both. Again, a wonderful opportunity for our students to be involved in.
