'Old Worlds, New Worlds, Other Worlds'

St Anne’s is celebrating Book Week commencing Monday 16 August. On this day we would love our students to dress up as their favourite book character or a character related to this year’s theme “Old worlds, new worlds, other worlds”.

Over the past years characters such as Where’s Wally, Captain Underpants, Harry Potter and Elsa have proven popular.

We will have a parade on Monday morning and run book related activities in the classrooms throughout the day also.

We will provide the children with a cinnamon donut for morning tea. 

Please contact the office should you not want your child to have a donut.

Scholastic Book Fair will also be on during this week. The fair will be set up in the Italian Room and the children will have the opportunity to purchase books and novelties during this time. Hours of operation before and after school will be sent out via seesaw on Friday 13 August.

We are really looking forward to celebrating this week. It has definitely been one of the highlights of our school year in the past.
