Room 3

We’re crazy about number in room 3!

This term, we have been exploring the wonderful world of number to help us understand how the number system and its patterns work.

Fluency has been a big deal in room 3, we have been working on automaticity when it comes to number facts, counting on, counting back and multiplication patterns.  We have been learning how to read and write BIG numbers up to a  decillion!

We have been working hard at our number goals, practicing skills and strategies daily.

Growth mindset

We explored the concept of ‘change your words, change your mindset’ as a way to think about how we can be more positive when it comes to challenges in life and in our learning. We created uplifting and encouraging posters to help each other stay positive when things get tough!
