Sporting Achievements
Congratulations to our year 5/6 girls who competed in the Queensland Allschools Oztag Carnival on the Sunshine Coast last weekend. The girls were fantastic both on and off the field. They made Tally proud with their determination and hard work on the field and their sportsmanship off the field. Friday morning was an early start with an 8:00am game and the girls played hard over Friday and Saturday to qualify for the quarter finals on Sunday.
They made it to the semi-finals, where they stepped up a gear and played their hearts out. It was a tough game, but unfortunately, they lost to the team that ended up being the overall winners of the comp. Well done to the girls.
Oceanic Track and Field
Good luck to all of our students who have qualified in the Tallebudgera State School Athletics team. They will compete at the Oceanic Track and Field carnival on the 7 and 8 of August. These students were selected from our school athletics carnival held in Term 2. All the best to our athletes!
