from Julie's Desk

As always we have a lot of great things going on at CHPS.

A special congratulations to all of our Preps for their 100 days.

Thanks to some families and children who planted some trees on Sunday. We are so grateful to them and to Jordan Tate and Steve Crook for all their work in the environmental sustainability space.

This week we received our order of Friendology Posters. Thanks, Kim for mounting some of them in the Wellbeing Playground Space. Stay tuned everyone for more updates about where the rest of the posters will be ‘popping up.’ This month the Friendology topic is Respect.

To Infinity and Beyond

Don’t forget to vote for the incredible rocket that has been designed and built by our Years 3-6 students from recycled materials. This is being picked up today and will be displayed at Eastland. The first prize is $3000 for the school.

Welcome

This week we welcomed two new staff to the ES Integration Aide team, Nathan and Laura. They are a great addition to the staff and we look forward to seeing them develop great rapport with the students they support.

A shout-out to all our ES Integration Aides for their expertise and commitment to supporting children with additional needs at our school.

Until next time,

Julie Reid  –  Assistant Principal, Wellbeing and Inclusion
