Principal's message

Thank you for demonstrating that founded in your kindness is the message of God, Jesus.

For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,

I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

Matthew 25:35-40

Dear Parents and Friends,

The President of the St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Patrick’s Conference  wrote to our school community to thank everyone for our donations of blankets, beanies and money to support the vulnerable people in Wangaratta this very cold winter.

Your generosity has helped many  to stay warm this winter.

Parent teacher interviews

Parent teacher interviews will be held this coming Monday 24th July.

This is a pupil free day  and bookings are made via Simon.

These face to face meetings are important in  creating a strong relationship between families and school.

They support the teacher in providing a clear picture of your child’s life and progress at school building on what has been reported in the written reports.

It is a time for parents to connect and communicate with their child’s teacher.

Before and After school care.

We remind families that with our new provider of out of houses school care- TheirCare, we are now able to offer before school care beginning at 7.00 o’clock.

This has already supported several families which is pleasing.

School Fun Run.

The prizes achieved in the School Fun Run will be sent home this week.

We thank all the families and extended families who supported us in this fundraising event.

The school raised  $12,641.13  which supports the building of the Cover over the basketball courts.

Since this cover was built last September, it has enabled our children to still be able to play comfortably outdoors on wet days  for part of their lunch times, and provided welcomed extra shade in summer.

Enrolments

We remind existing families that if they have a child ready for Foundation in 2024 to please contact the office to organise the enrollment.

If you know of families new to our school who are intending to enrol in our school to please urge them to do so.

Thank you.

Have a great week, everyone!
