On Thursday 22 June students from Years 7-9 competed at the SSWA Junior Hockey Carnival at the Perth Hockey Stadium at Curtain. After finishing the round robin games top of the table and undefeated along with the team John XXIII College faced in the final, Shenton College. In a tight game John XXIII College come home with a 1-0 victory.

Congratulations to all students involved on winning the Ross Meadows Shield. This means they will now face the South region winners in a game for ultimate supremacy in Term Three. Well done to Dylan Paull who as voted by the referees of each game was named the Trent Mitten Medal winner.

ACC Hockey

Well done to the ACC boys Hockey team. The boys performed magnificently on the day and qualified for the final against a strong Nagle College outfit that had travelled down from Geraldton. In an extremely tight game where neither team could get the win in normal time, the boys suffered the heartbreak of a loss via penalty stokes. The boys should be proud of the way they represented the College. Also a thanks to Mr Adrian Sims for supervising the team.
