Drama

On Wednesday 6 June 2018, the Year 11/12 General Drama class went to the Dolphin Theatre at the University of WA to see 'Macbeth'. This was performed by the Graduate Dramatic Society. We were accompanied by Mr Beins and Mr Coelho and everyone enjoyed the night immensely. We were treated to a wonderful story told with passion, dedication and commitment. It was a great production and had some fantastic performances. We look forward to seeing more shows this year.

Drama Club

The Junior and Senior Drama Clubs are both hard at work now rehearsing their shows for the Catholic Performing Arts Festival, Drama Night and the one-act Youth Theatre competition, Youthfest. The Junior Club has 42 members and meets every Tuesday afternoon; they are rehearsing a lovely show called  'For Feet’s Sake' based on the original fairytale of the 'Little Mermaid' written by Hans Christian Andersen.

The Senior Club meets every Wednesday afternoon to rehearse their show called 'Offerings' with a cast of 12. This is a very strange play where people have been called to a place and told to bring something special.  Who for and why, are questions that surround this play.

I am hoping that you will get to see both clubs' work at some point this year.
