Pastoral Care

This week members of the COMMUNITY ACTION TEAM collected hampers from homerooms to be given as a gift of kindness to St Vincent de Paul. The response has been amazing and everyone is to be congratulated and thanked for their contribution.

As a school community, we will be able to brighten the day for over 40 families.  The donation of an item or a coin puts into practice the lessons we learn at school; it reinforces and demonstrates our Christian faith and dedication to serving others.

The hampers will be presented to representatives from St Vincent de Paul at our closing Mass next week and distributed to those in need prior to Christmas.

As the school year draws to a close I would personally like to thank everyone for supporting the work of the Community Action Team. 2017 has been a year of many highlights and whilst I am looking forward to the Christmas break I am also looking forward to the challenges that a new year will bring.

I hope that everyone has a safe holiday and that you get to spend precious time with family and friends.

Kindest regards Sue Hone (Pastoral Care Worker)
