Kitchen Garden

Foundation & Junior School Kitchen/Garden
The Foundation and Junior School students have begun the year planting a variety of seedlings. We now have carrots, spring onions, a variety of lettuce, spinach, broad beans and potatoes in the garden. We have harvested our last year’s produce of tomatoes, pumpkins (which we still have more to come), corn, pears, figs, mulberries, and apples.
We have a variety of seedlings in our little makeshift hot house, such as broccoli, cauliflower, and beetroot, that we will be planting soon. Our first cooking session of the year will be pizza, so we can make use of the tomatoes, spring onions and spinach.
