Sports News

Congratulations to all the students who participated in the swim trials.  The enthusiasm and motivation of the students was very impressive.  A number of students have been training for some time and their consistent diligence to train is most admirable.

A special mention to Simone Kerr who has taken on the role of Swim Coach at our local Swim Centre. Simone is a new and valuable asset to our community. A big thanks also must go to our local Redfins Swimming Club as well as the many parents and carers who travel the countryside to give their children opportunities at various weekend swimming carnivals. The continual support of our student-athletes from our local community is always very much appreciated.

Additionally, thank you to GIHS staff member Carly Doust who travelled to the NW swim meet to support our students on the day.
