Principal Report

It has been a busy fortnight for Glen Innes High School’s staff and students.

Harmony Day

We have had our amazing dance students perform multiple dances to represent our school at the local Harmony Day celebrations which were held at the Glen Innes District Services Club. This year's theme was inclusiveness, respect and belonging for all Australians, regardless of cultural or linguistic background, united by a set of core Australian values. We have had many activities to celebrate this in the school including recess and lunchtime art and dance activities as well as a scavenger hunt that occurred all of Week 9 which many students participated in, and finally, a day to wear orange.

NAPLAN

Congratulations to Year 7 and 9 on completing their Naplan for 2023, well done!

School photos

We were glad to see that the majority of our students came prepared and dressed in full school uniforms and wearing their best smiles for their school photos.

TAFE Programs

Access Hair Yes and Access Hospitality Yes are taster TAFE programs currently being run for our students. The courses are in full swing and being enjoyed by all.
