Year 7-12 Trinity at the Quarry

The Trinity Performing Arts Department will present its annual event at the Quarry Amphitheatre on Sunday, 26 March 2023. This outdoor concert features our Senior Ensembles in a beautiful venue, where patrons can bring a picnic dinner to eat before the concert. The show will feature the combined groups of Trinity and Mercedes Music departments and other Senior Trinity Ensembles.

We look forward to showcasing the amazing talents of our students on the night and hope to see many of you there.

Retro Bingo Night

Congratulations to the Friends of Performing Arts for hosting their major fundraiser last Friday, Retro Bingo. It was a fun night, with lots of great music, fun games, and plenty of laughs.

Special thanks go to Tania Salmon and Giorgi Lamattina for coordinating the event and to all our parent volunteers that worked tirelessly in the lead-up to and on the night. Thank you to all for your ongoing support of the Performing Arts.

We look forward to seeing you again at our next event!

Pemulwuy Music Tour  2023

On Wednesday night, Mrs Clarke hosted our first Parent Information Session for the Music Tour to the Pemulwuy Male Voice Festival in Brisbane from Tuesday, 6 July to Saturday, 10 July 2023.

The tour is for boys in Year 6, currently in the Junior Vocal Ensemble, and boys in Years 7 – 9, currently in the Middle School Vocal Ensemble. We want to thank the parents for a great turnout and hope they found the evening informative. The Performing Arts Department is very excited to coordinate a Music Tour this year. We can't wait to share more information with our TC community as we get closer to the date.

Casting Call - Senior Drama Production

Rehearsals for the Senior School Drama production The Plot, Like Gravy, Thickens are underway, and we have a fantastic male and female cast!

The Drama Department is searching for one more female to fill the role of Beatrice due to a cast member needing to pull out due to sickness. This is an important role; however, it is a small role, so it might suit someone who loves Drama and is keen to be involved in a fun production without the pressure of performing a leading role.

Rehearsals run Wednesdays and Sundays at Trinity College; the performance dates are Thursday, 4 May and Friday, 5 May.

Please note, the candidate must be either in Years 10, 11 or 12.
