Year 9 Becoming Men Program

As part of the Becoming Men program, the Year 9 cohort was fortunate to have Lochie Taylor ('16) come and speak about his TC journey and the influence mentors had on his journey. Lochie was Head Prefect of the College in 2016 and had a long list of achievements during his TC journey including representing the First XI cricket and First XVIII football teams, a part of the ‘97 Club’ and initiating and coordinating Pink Sock Round in its inaugural year to name a few.

Lochie identified his dad and his close mates from high school, who are still his close friends now, as people who positively influenced his journey as mentors and spoke about how important a part Trinity played in his development as a young man. On behalf of the Class of 2026, we thank Lochie for taking the time to come back and share his experiences with us, as well as Tieg (9.7) for his amazing interview skills to support Lochie in telling his story.
