HARMONY DAY
Students in the Grade Five & Six classes made Cinquain poems about what harmony day means. Harmony day is a day where there is peace all over the world, you can either wear your cultural clothes or orange clothes. People celebrate harmony day by sharing their dances and foods. Look at some of the amazing poems! - Meg & Holly
AFL CLINIC
On Thursday the 23rd of March, all students participated in an AFL clinic. It was super fun & we are so grateful to have Mr Craig organise all of these wonderful clinics for us! Thanks to the people who came out to teach us some new skills!
'It was very enjoyable & fun. We did some kicking & handballing games' - Max Clark
'We got to kick goals & it was fun!' - Harlan Early
'It was competitive. It was exciting & good seeing female people from the AFL come out to teach us. It showed me that girls can play footy too & they won't get made fun of.' - Tilly Rupe
FRACTIONS!
We have been learning about fractions in maths & made our very own fractions walls. Getting the correct lengths was challenging, however, students worked really well in pairs to produce some excellent work!
