School Council

Report from Meeting held 26/10/22

A number of reports were presented with the main outcomes being:

  • Recruitment of staff for 2023 - Families will be aware that our school is recruiting for 6 positions including Assistant Principal. Discussed how we could assist with recruitment such as a promotional video of our school. We are also seeking accomodation options for new staff as we do not want this to be a barrier to recruit. We have had one offer of rental accomodation from a school family. If other families have accommodation options available please contact the school.
  • New crew neck jumper option presented by Student Exec and approved by School Council.
  • Year 11 camp approved to Melbourne.
  • Repairs to boys toilets discussed.
  • Quotes to paint and carpet school hallway and rooms being obtained.
  • School council is reviewing the School Vision with a workshop process in the near future.

Next meeting is Wednesday 23rd November- all welcome to attend or please forward items for discussion to School Council.
