Principal's Report

Mrs Clare Healy

Dear O'Connor Community,

Final week for Year 12

Year 12 completed their HSC exams this week. This week also marks their final event - the Year 12 Formal. It is our greatest pleasure to send our Year 12 students into the world to make a difference. When we make a positive difference to other people's lives, then we are successful. Year 12 have made the O'Connor community all the more richer and we wish them all the best in their futures. I am reminded of the words of Dr Suess and look forward to hearing about their adventures in years to come.

Oh the places you'll go!

Congratulations!

Today is your day.

You're off to Great Places!

You're off and away!

You have brains in your head.

You have feet in your shoes.

You can steer yourself any direction you choose.

You're on your own. And you know what you know.

And YOU are the guy who'll decide where to go.

And will you succeed?Yes!

You will, indeed!

(98 and 3/4 percent guaranteed.)

You're off the Great Places!

Today is your day!

Your mountain is waiting.

So...get on your way!

Student Representative Council imitative update

Last year the SRC raised funds for a drink station. This week we are proud to say it has arrived and is ready for use. As part of the drink station we were also able to incorporate Indigenous artwork. Thank you to Mr James Russell, Mr Matt Griffin, Ms Kate Bloomfield and our PRIDE students for helping us decide on the artwork.

Thank you to all of our SRC students and staff who assisted in raising funds for this project. It is welcome addition to our school and is located at the BBQ area.

God Bless,
