Year 7 & 8 STEAM

Our year 7 STEAM students have been busy applying their numeracy and art skills to designing and drawing geoglyphs! Through that experience they developed their social and team work skills, taking accountability for their role in the project and working collaboratively to achieve a cohesive final presentation. Meanwhile, our year 8 students have been investigating cell structures, learning about bacteria cultures and techniques scientists use to identify them. As an extension on that, students have also been creating abstract artworks inspired by microscopic photography and developing their understanding of art elements, principles and techniques.
