Junior School Update
Jocelyn Gepp
Term 4 is flying by and the Junior Students have been busy.
Our Year 7 students have been celebrating their successes in their assemblies with student of the week awarded for their efforts inside and outside of the classroom with a focus on our school values of Respect, Excellence and Determination.
Our Year 8 students completed their Career Actions Plans. Creating profiles about themselves and their interests, values, and hobbies. Students also focused on creating goals and plans for their future. They also attended a Wellbeing excursion to the movies where they ate popcorn and watched the movie Runt.
Our Year 9 students participate in their mock interviews where they came dressed in professional attire and practiced what it would be like to be in a job interview. They were able to gain insightful feedback that will allow them to be successful when interviewing for jobs out in community in the future. They have also been out on an excursion to the Ballarat Tech School where they learnt about Laser Cutting.
Uniform reminder: Students are expected to be in full school uniform each day. Hooded jumpers are NOT uniform and should not be worn to school. Students are able to layer up by wearing plain long sleeve white t-shirts. Extra layers should not be visible outside of their uniform. Should you require support purchasing uniform please reach out to the relevant year level leader.
