TO ensure safety, students should not be leaving the College grounds after they arrive at school. A small number of students are leaving school to visit the shops. Parents/carers are asked to discourage this practice.
IT was wonderful to see a majority of our students arriving back to school so beautifully presented in their summer uniforms. Unfortunately, a few students are not wearing the correct College socks. A reminder that they are available from Café 135. Some students may still need to purchase new uniforms as they have outgrown them and will need to visit the uniform shop as soon as possible.
GOOD luck to the Class of 2022! It was a blessing to be able to celebrate the final College assembly, mass and graduation ceremony with our students and families on Friday, 21 October. Best wishes to students preparing for the ATAR examinations commencing on 31 October and to those beginning employment or further studies.
Year 12 students will be able to access their results online via the student portal at https://studentportal.scsa.wa.edu.au opens in new window on Monday, 19 December 2022. To log on, students will need their student number and other personal identification information. It is advisable that students provide an alternate email address via the student portal. This is to avoid issues where school email accounts close prior to the release of results.
The School Curriculum and Standards Handbook is also a valuable resource and is available on https://www.scsa.wa.edu.au/publications/year-12-information
Advice for parents can be accessed via https://parent.scsa.wa.edu.au/how-can-i-help-my-year-12
Advice for students can be accessed via https://student.scsa.wa.edu.au/advice-for-year-12s
I highly recommend that all students/parents download reports from SEQTA and save them before you lose access to them electronically.
YEAR 9 students attended a session with me on Wednesday, 26 October on Examination Preparation. They were provided with a copy of their Exam Timetables and some strategies to prepare for the exams. Early preparation is strongly advised. Examinations commence on Thursday 24 November and conclude on Wednesday 30 November. Students attend school during the period. The PowerPoint presentation is available on SEQTA Documents.
A reminder that the last day for Year 7-9 students is Thursday, 8 December when students will be dismissed at 12pm.
