International Chemistry Quiz 

IN Term 2 the Year 11 and 12 ATAR Chemistry classes participated in the 2022 International Chemistry Quiz. The quiz promotes interest in chemistry and the role of chemists in society. 

The questions relied on students to apply their knowledge of chemistry and chemical thinking to understand and interpret the stimulus material provided. The questions were designed to challenge students and test their abilities. 

Congratulations to the Year 11 students Zara D’Cruz and Sumail Sidhu for receiving High Distinctions - they scored in the top 10 per cent. Theodore Ciungwanara and Jonathan Le received Distinction awards, scoring in the top 25 per cent.

Year 12 students Elijah Edmonds, Aidin Fenwick, Guntaas Ranu, Jason Zhuang and Year 11 student Aarush Vijapure all received Credit for ranking in the 40 per cent of the State. 

Well done to all students for their participation and hard work.
