Message From Our Principal

Mrs Jackie Stockdale

A big thank you to all of the families that attended the 'Family Bowls Night' this week. It was a super fun night that saw us enjoy a bbq dinner, a game of bowls and a friendly competition.

This Sunday we begin the Advent Season. Advent marks the beginning of the Church’s new year and is the season of waiting and preparation for the coming of Christ. Each week during Advent, our Senior class will be presenting a reflection focused on each of the four weeks. These are always prayerful, lovely reflections.

A reminder that Monday, November 28th will be a student free day. Staff will be at school on this date planning for 2023.

On Monday the staff from St Pat's will be actively participating in the 'Run for Rochy'- a great initiative to raise money for Rochester. The staff will be running a face painting stall and a 'Nifty Fifty' game. If your family is interested in attending the event it will be great to see you there!

Orientation Day will take place on Tuesday, December 6th.  2023 Foundation-Grade 6 students will spend time with their new class and teacher. All students will commence the new school year on Monday, January 30th, 2023.

Congratulations to Miss Stephanie Hayes who has been accepted into the Country Diocese Leadership Program (CDLP) in 2023. This will be a great opportunity for Steph to develop and enhance her leadership skills.

Our Rochester Christmas Tree is well under way- collecting Christmas presents for the children of Rochester. Feel free to add a gift under the tree, these gifts could include toys, board games, sports equipment etc. During the last week of school we will deliver these gifts to Rochester.

Thanks to your support, we are pleased to have secured a commitment from both sides of politics for ongoing investment in Catholic education. This funding is not only important for our students, but for Catholic students across the state. The funding will allow us to upgrade facilities and infrastructure to support the growth of Catholic schools, support our teachers and give your children the high-quality education they deserve. You can read more about the full list of the major parties’ commitments on the Catholic Education Commission’s ‘Fair Catholic Funding’ website that we have linked.
