Que font les élèves?
The students in Years 3 and 4 have enjoyed their unit on persuasive speech writing, exploring a wide variety of ways to communicate the things they are passionate about. Students have begun exploring ways to integrate this work into their very own Google Sites website. These websites will contain a variety of images, text and links to important information in order for students to promote awareness about their topics. In Mathematics, now that students have completed their work on space, maps and scales they have begun reviewing their work in preparation for final assessments. As the picture shows, teachers and students work together using all sorts of mediums and surfaces to further mathematical understanding.

We have the pleasure to welcome Cedric at CJC for a creative and informative workshop with the Prep to Grade 2 French binational program classes, what a treat!
Today some of our 1/2s took part in an art incursion with local Indigenous artist, Merindah-Gunya. They learnt about how symbols have meaning and can tell a story through art. They are looking forward to seeing their art up around the school. It was great to see their enthusiasm and skill in creating such fantastic pieces of art!
