2023 John Locke Institute Global Essay Competition, University of Oxford

Congratulations to Michael Li, Year 12, who has been selected out of 20,000 students from across the world as a finalist in the 2023 John Locke Institute Global Essay Competition. 

Michael's essay centered on the question, 'If China becomes the leading superpower, what would that mean for the people who live there? What would it mean for the rest of the world?'  

To celebrate this achievement, Michael has been invited to visit the University of Oxford in England for the academic conference and awards ceremony.

2023 National Karate Championships

A huge congratulations to Aarav Amara, Year 8, who recently won two gold medals at the 2023 National Karate Championships held in Perth from 25 to 27 August.

Aarav represented Victoria in the championships, participating in both the U14 Individual Kumite division and the Team Kumite event. He won the gold medal in the U14 Individual Kumite division and, together with his team, once again secured the gold in the U14 Team Kumite Team event. 

Well done to Aarav on his rigorous commitment to training which resulted in these outstanding performances!
