Centenary Gala Reminder

Only one more sleep now, guys and dolls, until the Kilvington Centenary Gala, a once-in-a-century event! We can’t wait to welcome guests to Merrimu Receptions for what promises to be an unforgettable celebration.

A few reminders for all those attending:

  • The event will start at 7.00pm sharp, so please ensure you arrive on time.
  • Parking is available at the venue and in the surrounding streets.
  • The dress code is smart casual. While there is no requirement to dress up in the Great Gatsby theme, there will be a prize for best dressed.
  • The Speakeasy Bar will be open for all those wanting to break prohibition with extra drinks.
  • There will be a raffle with outstanding prizes. Only 250 tickets will be for sale so get in early. You gotta be in it to win it!
  • Grab your mates and head to the photobooth to capture some wonderful memories.
  • Bring your dancing shoes and get ready to kick up your heels!

We look forward to seeing you tomorrow, and remember, 'a little party never killed nobody!'

Centenary Time Capsule Ceremony

Under the guidance of Academic Dean of Visual Arts, Rosie Busuttil, and Year 4 classroom teacher, Francis McGinley, students from ELC to Year 12 have been working this term on creating memories to be included in a Centenary Time Capsule.

The Capsule is to be buried in an official ceremony in our Centenary Garden on Friday 6 October.

Also included in the Time Capsule will be a letter from Principal Rob French to the Kilvington community in 25 years’ time, as well as mementos from our Walsh Club members (our oldest Kilvington graduates), who will be attending their own reunion-luncheon on the day. Stay tuned for more information and photos of this special occasion!
