School Yard Procedures and Safety for our students:
- Students are supervised in the yard from 8.25 am until the bell goes to commence learning at 8.45 am. The gates are locked at this time and any late arrivals are to enter via the office and collect a late arrival card. (Teachers mark the roll at 8.45 am to ensure they are ready to start leading learning).
- Gates are opened at approximately 3.00 pm and parents and caregivers are requested to collect their children from the schoolyard. Teachers will bring students out to the yard for dismissal.
- Students riding home and walking home are to use the manned school crossings and ensure they exit the school safely. All students on bikes and scooters are required to wear approved safety helmets.
- Students must be supervised in the car park at all times as everyone's safety is important.
