Week 10
Learning News
What a busy busy last week of term! Our school has been a buzzing hive, preparing for our end of year presentation day, graduation and organising our classrooms plus doing all of those things we never get time for during the rest of the year, not to mention the pool party! It was lovely to see so many parents attending our presentation day on Thursday to help celebrate the achievements of our wonderful students. Congratulations to everyone for a massive effort throughout the year, particularly our wonderful teachers, and we look forward to seeing you all in the new year.
Have a holy, happy and peaceful Christmas.
Kindergarten
We have had great excitement this week celebrating our last few days of Kindergarten. We enjoyed a fun session with Miss Myer's as part of our Year One transition day. We have also been working hard on practising our poem for the end of year performance and embracing the Christmas spirit! As part of exploring the Math content for Volume and Capacity, we made some salt dough decorations. We had to read the recipe, use the measuring cups, make and paint them.
It is with some sadness that we say goodbye to 2022. That being said, the children share a lot of excitement and anticipation for a fantastic year ahead. It has been a pleasure to teach your children this year and witness their growth as learners. We would like to wish all our Kindergarten families a very safe and restful Christmas break and a happy new year. We look forward to seeing our Year One's next year.

Stage 1
This week, Stage 1 has been learning about Christmas. We drew and wrote about each part of The Christmas Story to create a picture book. We also had fun completing various Christmas crafts, including some very cute and crazy Gingerbread boys and girls. The students were very proud of their creations!
We have enjoyed teaching each and every one of our beautiful Stage 1 students this year. We have had such a fantastic year together and will miss them next year! We hope you all have a safe and happy Christmas and enjoy a well-earned break.

Stage 2
This week in Stage 2, we have been researching Christmas traditions of different countries. These traditions include, what food they eat, the clothing they wear, what day Christmas is on and religious traditions. The students then presented their slideshow of their country to the class.
We would like to thank Stage 2 for a fantastic year! We have had so much fun learning and creating memories that will last a lifetime. It has been a pleasure to teach you all. We would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Safe New Year.

Stage 3
We have had a super dooper busy week in Year 5/6 this week preparing for our end of year performance and Year 6 Graduation Mass.
The Year 6 students had a great day celebrating their Yr 6 Fun Day. Fun was had by all, starting with ten pin bowling and arcade games and finishing the day off at Bicentennial Park.
