Dear Parents and Carers,
It was wonderful to see such a great roll up of family and friends at our annual Awards' Ceremony held at school. Congratulations to all students K-6 for your commitment to learning in 2022.
We have a number of special awards at St Michael's including many perpetual awards, supported by the community. Special Award recipients are:
Academic Excellence in English: Maisy Armytage, Frank Coleman, Alice Coombes, Jed Davis, Molly Gallagher, Ruby Kenafick and Harper Ryman.
Academic Excellence in Mathematics: Oliver Maughan, Alice Coker, Lillian Squire, Jasper Lendon, Molly Gallagher, Riley Butcher and Harper Ryman.
Christian Excellence:Poppy Long, Evie Lendon, Georgia Abra, Logan Burrows, Isaac Marshman, Braxton Tyrna and Maddalin Gardner.

We farewell our wonderful Year 6 students as they make their way to High School. Congratulations to Maddalin Gardner, Marshall Griffiths, Jaden Hancock, Charlie McNeill, Jock McNeill, Deklan Poole, Harper Ryman, Connor Shepherd, Liam Smith, Luke Torrens and Madeline Trotter as they enter the next phase of their education. We look forward to hearing wonderful things about you.
The staff at St Michael's wish everyone a safe, happy and holy Christmas and New Year period and thank all families for their support throughout the year. We really appreciate the time taken to lend a hand as needed. Christmas Mass will be held at St Michael's Church on Christmas Eve commencing at 5.30 p.m. School for staff will commence on Friday January 27 2023 and for students in Years 1 -6 on Tuesday January 31 2023. Kindergarten will commence on Friday February 3 2023 as they need to complete their Best Start Assessments earlier in the week. The school has made arrangements with each family regarding this.
