Languages Week 

From Monday 5 to Friday 9 August was Languages Week and it was a great success!

Over the week we had French and Japanese screenings (Ratatouille and Pokemon) and there many yummy cultural treats,  on Tuesday there was Japanese food at the Canteen that students had ordered such as sushi and ramen and on Thursday the Crepes for Change returned to MGSC and graced us with delicious crepes! We also had wishes placed on a gorgeous bamboo tree in the canteen quadrangle and on Friday, we had students dress up at lunchtime and enjoy a performance from our very own Love Live Idol Group! A big thank you to all the students who participated and the teachers who helped make this week happen - such as Mr Haines who taught martial arts to students. Other teachers who put immense effort into this cultural week were Ms Andrianopoulos and Ms Witt. Thank you!

Another huge thank you to Katie Barnshaw, our Year 12 Languages Domain Leader who invested so much time into giving MGSC students a week of learning and fun!
