Parent/Teacher/Student interviews – term 3

The Parent/Teacher/Student interviews for Year 7-10 students will be held on Wednesday 28 August between 1.30pm and 8pm, with a break between 5pm and 6pm. Please note that there are no scheduled classes on this day.

Bookings open for Year 7-10 students at 3.30pm on Friday 23 August.

VCE parents who were unable to attend the VCE interviews will have an opportunity to book an appointment at this session after 3.30pm on Tuesday 27 August.

You will need to log onto your parent portal to see your child’s interim report and to book the interviews. If you do not recall your Compass ID and/or password, please email portal@mgsc.vic.edu.au with your query.

Uniform

A reminder to students and families that altering uniform items is not allowed. This includes shortening the College trousers. Students who are not wearing their uniform properly will be asked to make the necessary adjustments within a specified time frame.

Scholarship opportunity for 2020 Year 9 students

Harding Miller Education Foundation is offering scholarships for girls who have high academic potential and are experiencing socio-economic hardship. These life-changing scholarship are for female, secondary students in Australian public schools. Each scholarship is valued at $20,000 over four years and provides critical resources and support to enable our scholars to excel and reach their potential.

The scholarships are for girls in Year 8 who are entering Year 9 in 2020. They must be Australian citizens or permanent residents and be studying at a public high school.
