LETTER FROM ADPSC COORDINATOR 

The following is a letter that was received regarding Diocesan sport. In light of this and the advice from the NSW Government regarding social distance, ALL sporting events for the rest of this term have either been cancelled or postponed. This will also include the school cross country which was due to take place in the last week of this term. This also includes sport outside school - Oztag, touch football, hockey clinic, basketball, futsal and cricket.

Announcement: Armidale Diocesan Primary Sport

Monday 16th March, 2020

I wish to advise that all upcoming Armidale Diocesan Primary Sporting events for Term 1 will be temporarily ceased until further notice. This decision has not come lightly but it is our aim to limit the impact of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) has on our schools.

I am sure you can all agree that our students' health is our priority. These measures are precautionary and designed to reduce exposure via non-essential gatherings.

It is with much regret that we announce the temporary ceasement of the following sporting events that will affect our Primary School students :

ADPSC Winter Trials - 20th March, 2020

NSWCPS Swimming - 25th March, 2020

Polding AFL trials - 27th March, 2020

ADPSC Touch Football Trials - 3rd April, 2020

NSWPSSA Swimming - 6th April, 2020

Further information will be provided in regards to possible rescheduled dates and refunds if events are cancelled.

NETBALL

Dear Netballers,

At the time of typing this, no decision has been made regarding our winter netball competition that is due to begin next term, on May 2nd 2020.  All I can tell you is what I DO know. 

* I have been instructed to organise, type up and upload our teams onto the My Netball website for grading. 

* I have been instructed to NOT pay any money to the Tamworth Netball Association. 

* I have the sizes for the new netball dress uniform for the Year 3 students. I will NOT order them yet. If the competition goes ahead, I will order them. The uniforms will arrive in the middle of the season, so the girls can just wear their sports uniform until the dresses arrive. If the season does NOT go ahead, I'll return the money you paid for the uniforms. 

* I know that the Registrar for TNA was so impressed with ALL of our players having registered online on time. You guys rock!
