Cross Country

Last week, we held Cross Country Trials for the Preston District Cross Country Carnival which is being held on Wednesday 17th May.

Congratulations to the 50 students who will be competing.

Training this week will be Wednesday and Thursday for Years 3 and 4 and Wednesday and Friday for Years 5 and 6.

We have had a few students who have done amazing things outside the school in sport.

Congratulations to the following students:

Talia Beninati (5/6B) - Victorian team for gymnastics/acrobatics.

Kristian Tramontana (5/6M) - Victorian Squad for the under 12 FFV team.

Sebastian Marcellino (5/6R) - Through to the 3rd round to choose the School Sports Victoria State Team.

If any students have achieved amazing results in sport, we would love to hear about it.

The Year 5/6 students began playing interschool sport two weeks ago. We have had a very successful start to the fixture.

Footy - won 30-19

Boys Soccer - won 18-0

Girls Soccer - won 9-0

Girls Netball - won 20-5

Mixed Netball- won 3-0

Friday 5th May v Holy Name

Footy - won 33-7

Boys Soccer - won 10-0

Girls Soccer - won 9-0

Girls Netball - lost 12-18

Mixed Netball- won 8-0

This Friday we will be playing Preston B Team.
