Year 12 VCAL and VCE Results

On behalf of all the staff, we offer our warmest congratulations to the Year 12 Class of 2019 on their final results which were released last Thursday. We acknowledge there are many success stories beyond those mentioned here, where students have achieved results by pushing themselves to perform at their best.  Each student who worked hard and demonstrated commitment and perseverance should be proud of their achievements, whether they are represented in the leader board or not.  We celebrate all these students and their achievements.

Our top achievers for 2019 are

This is a culmination of the six years of secondary schooling and we acknowledge it relies on a team of dedicated staff from Year 7 right through to year 12.  We would like to thank all the staff for their work with our students and, in particular, acknowledge the level of commitment shown by our teachers of Year 12.  We are very fortunate to have such a wonderful whole staff team who go above and beyond to support our students. They are completely dedicated to making sure that each student has all they need to successfully complete their schooling, and, importantly, to transition to a quality post school pathway.

Special thanks to our Senior Sub-school coordinators who have worked tirelessly to support and guide all the 2019 Year 12 students – Ms Stav Bekiaris(Senior Sub-school Leader), Ms Anna Woods (Assistant Senior Sub-school Leader), Mr Robert Krysinski (VCE Learning coordinator), Ms Laura Gough (VCAL coordinator), Ms Wendy Mair (Year Level Co-ordinator) and Ms Rosemary Bambery (Senior Sub-school Assistant).

We would also like to acknowledge the work of the careers/pathways team - Ms Cathy Armstrong, Ms Colleen Lynch and Ms Jaqueline Hunter who are available to work with students either to confirm their VTAC course selections, or to revise them as needed.  We thank this dedicated team for all they have done for this cohort and for their continued support. Students are encouraged to see the careers team if they require any further assistance with courses or pathways.

We wish our entire 2019 Year 12 cohort well for the next part of their journey and look forward to seeing their growth and contributions beyond school.  They will always be part of the St Albans Secondary College Community.
