Heferen Shield

On Friday 3rd August (Week 2) many of our primary athletes competed at the Heferen Shield. Our school competed extremely well and were announced school champions. There were many individual honours on the day, with Olivia Turner (Junior Girl Champion), Zara Cogan (11 Year Girls Champion) and Jack Gobbert (Junior Boy Runner Up) all competed exceptionally well in all of their events. Our Junior Girl Relay Team consisting of Charlotte Davison, Olivia Turner, Heidi Cannington and Alex Reardon also won their event. Well done to all athletes who represented the school. A big thank you to all of our parent helpers who assisted in the smooth running of the carnival. 

NSW Schools Cup Netball Regional Final

Last week our Primary Netball Team competed at the NSW Schools Cup Netball Regional Final in Tamworth. The team consisting of Lily Haddad, Bella Fernance, Zara Cogan, Bronte Davison, Sune Cronje, Sophie Hunter, Zoe Ross and Isabel Schweitzer competed against schools from Manilla, Nemingha and Ross Hill.  Our girls toiled hard against some fierce competition and were unlucky not to register a win.  Well done on getting so far in the state wide competition.
