BOOM Day - Crazy Sock

Today was BOOM Day - which this week meant crazy socks! Check out these photos of some of out students in their crazy socks.

Stay tuned to find out what's in store for BOOM Day next term...

Students Feeling Unwell

The School has become aware of an increasing number of students being sent to school despite being unwell. Please be aware that the School is not equipped to deal with large cases of students who are ill. If your child is feeling unwell, we kindly request that families make arrangements for their child to stay

at home. Sending them to school increases the likelihood of other students becoming ill and/or distracts others from their learning. We thank you for your co-operation in this matter.

Students Withdrawing 2016

We remind families that the school should be

informed in writing of your intention to withdraw

your child at the end of 2015 from any year

level.

One term’s notice of withdrawal is required in

writing, to avoid being charged a term’s fees. If

you have not yet informed the school and you

are intending to withdraw your child, we

strongly encourage you to do so, as soon as possible.

Personal Details

We would like to remind families that if your

circumstances change in anyway this

includes address, phone numbers, email address, custody arrangements and fee arrangements, please contact that school as soon as possible to update your details. This will assist us in ensuring that the information we provide you with is correct. Please feel free to email any updates to office@bhcs.vic.edu.au so that it can be passed on to the relevant departments.

Bus Travel Renewal Letters

Bus travel renewal letters for 2016 have been

sent home to current bus users. These are due back tomorrow, September 11.

If you do not currently use the bus, but would

like to apply to use the bus, a form can be

obtained from Reception.

Fee Schedule 2016

2016 Fees have now been finalised. Please view the attached PDF document for details.

The School has introduced a Resource & Activities Levy for each year level. This covers the usual resources, excursions, swimming & sporting activities as in the past, but now will also cover the cost of camp for the year. This should result in no additional charges being added to your fee account during the course of the year.

Important Information for Health Care & Pension Card Holders

As advertised last term, if you hold a current Health Care or Pension Card, or are a Foster Parent, you may be eligible for a Government payment under the new Camps, Sports & Excursions Fund.

Payments are $125 per primary student and $225 per secondary student. Please see the information link below for further details and download the Application Form and return it to School as soon as possible if you have not yet done so.  The Department of Education has extended this funding with applications now being accepted until the end of Term 3, 18th September.
