Principal's Report

Congratulations on a terrific Term 1

What an amazing start to the 2017 school year. It has been so productive and engaging for all students. We couldn't have asked for a smoother start. Plans are well underway for Term 2 to be equally dynamic and rewarding. Check out the KPS Calendar - Camp for Middle and Senior students, Bookfair, Grandparents Day, Cross Country, KPS Open Day and  transition visits are just a few things that are on there.

Head Lice - School/Parent Managed Head Lice Program

This week the Shire of Yarra Ranges came to train some parents so that we can manage head lice at KPS. Thank you to those parents who volunteered. We still need 3 more parents to be trained. Head lice can affect us all and we are trying to minimise out breaks with regular checks. If you are able to help please see Janine at the Office.

Statement of Values

A safe, supportive and inclusive school environment is essential for providing quality learning opportunities for all students.

The Department of Education and Training has a Statement of Values that sets our behavioural expectations of all members in our school community. At Kilsyth Primary School we endorse these values. I have attached them and hope all members of our community read them.

Twilight Night - Acknowledgement of volunteers.

Here is an acknowledgement from the Fundraising Committee.

We would like to thank all the families and friends who attended our Twilight Market. The general consensus everyone had a good time. We would especially like to thank the following people and families for their help Kevin Gill, Jess Worland, Nichole Rosenwax, Dave Thomas, Robyn Mckelvey, Bronwyn Sutton, Sharon Sticht, Amanda Lomas, Amelia Tonkin, the Stevens, Lowe, Way, Keane, Van Beelen, Robinson, Woodworth and Davis Families.
