Community Garden News
Working together in our beautiful outdoor classroom.
Dear families,
Just a little update from the garden. As mentioned previously, I have been finding over 20 eggs in the nesting boxes each week which means that the new chickens have adjusted well to their new environment.
Over the last 2 weeks, the students have helped with weeding and mulching, harvesting - broad beans, cabbage, silverbeet & kale.
With the 3/4's we played a game of 'vegetable heads', planted summer vegetables among other maintenance jobs.
If you would like to buy some eggs for $5.00 per dozen please see us in the office as proceeds will help to buy feed for the chooks.
Enjoy your weekend!
