Japanese Language News

'St Anthony's encourages students to be curious, creative, and critical thinkers through a teaching approach that connects the values of Catholic faith to the thoughts, feelings and actions of our students.'

Please enjoy these photos from Japanese classes from the last few weeks.

Preps have been doing directed drawings of cultural objects such as sushi and labelling them in Japanese. Grade 1/2s recently illustrated a mini book called Katachi no Kimochi,(The Shapes' Feelings), to take home. Grade 3/4s worked on their Pocky Projects and created their own flavours of Pocky, 3D models of their Pocky's and some fun Pocky themed games to play with their class. Grade 5/6s have constructed sentences in Japanese about school subjects they like and practised their oral language skills in Japanese. All of them gave their best go at saying their sentences out loud and should be proud of the progress they have made this term! すばらしい (subarashii)!
