SAKG

THANK YOU FROM THE KITCHEN PROGRAM

On behalf of the students and the teachers, I would like to extend a VERY BIG THANK YOU to ALL the parents/family members who have helped in any way this term e.g. helping in the kitchen, donating food items and coordinating the volunteer roster. Your help is TRULY appreciated.

We have had a very successful term cooking a variety of foods e.g.  zucchini and haloumi fritters, zucchini slice, roasted tomato risotto, flat breads as well as many different salads and dips. I have been very impressed with how quickly and safely the Grade 3 students developed their knife skills. The Grade 4 students have been very impressive virtually preparing meals on their own (under the supervision of the volunteers).

We are currently preparing the roster for Term 2. Please email me evans.euanna.e@edumail.vic.gov.au. or complete the attached form and return it to the office  BY WEDNESDAY 25 March.

All recipes are available on the Murrumbeena Primary School Website / AT our school/ SAKG.

Hope you have time to try out some recipes during the holidays.

Happy cooking!

TERM 2 GARDEN VOLUNTEERS

If you haven't already done so, please respond to Mary's email request for Term 2 volunteers.

HERB STALL

We invite you all to come along and support the grade 4 students in their selling endeavours.

The herb stall allows us to sell surplus herbs and assists in keeping the garden flourishing.

It's also a great way for the wider school community to enjoy the fruits of our labours.

The stall in Term 1 has been run alternately by 4S (odd weeks) on Wednesday afternoons and by 4R (even weeks) on Tuesday afternoons.

The stall runs for approx. 10 -15 mins from 3.30pm - 3.45pm.

Please come along this Wednesday.

Next week is the last stall for the term.
