CAN YOU KNIT, CROCHET OR DRY FELT?

OUR ART ROOM IS IN DESPERATE NEED OF YOUR HELP!!!!!

Grade 5 and 6 students have started learning to knit, crochet and dry felt poppies in preparation for ANZAC Day. We desperately need volunteers to assist in teaching our students these skills.

Please contact Murrumbeena Primary School on 9568 1300 or via email at murrumbeena.ps@edumail.vic.gov.au. Alternatively you can drop past the Art Room before or after school hours to express your interest. 

Sessions will run on:

Wednesdays 11.20-12.50 and

Fridays 9.25-10.55 and 2.00-3.30.

If you don’t have time to spare but still want to be involved, we also need donations of knitting needles, crochet hooks, felting needles, red yarn, red felting wool and black buttons.

Please spread the word amongst your friends and families. We would be delighted if you could help us out and share your knowledge and skills with our students! Thank you to those who came and lent a hand last week, we are so appreciative.
