DRESS-UP BOOK WEEK PARADE

Success and congratulations to us all. It really was a great day.

Many more photos will feature on the screens in the library for student viewing.

The parade video will also feature in next week's newsletter

Thank you to Mr Chamberlain for working his magic on our images.

LIBRARY LEADERS

Thankyou, Thankyou, Thankyou

to a very dedicated group of young people, so very impressed by your commitment to your task and our school community.

Yummy treat next week!

TOWN LIBRARY ZOOM

Usually to help celebrate Book Week we make a trek down to the Town Library, but unfortunately, it was not possible this year. So like our book fair and dress-up parade we thought outside the box to make something happen.

Thank you to Amy Rake from the Tamworth Regional Library for hosting Zoom sessions with every grade this week. The students were able to chat with Amy about the Book Week books we have read and in turn, Amy read to us and piqued our interest in some books that we have not yet purchased but certainly will now.

Parents, the Town Library is open and has a wealth of topics and items for the whole family to borrow.

IT WAS HERE, and NOW IT IS OVER. OUR BEST YET!

                                BOOK WEEK 2020

Monday 19 to Friday 23 October

BOOK FAIR WRAP UP

A great week with many books purchased and many more on order. I'm hopeful that the orders will begin arriving next week. The total amount was comparable to last year, over $10 000 worth of books of which we receive over $2000 in school commission. So thank you for all your online payments meaning less cash to handle and count and less drain on your precious time to come in and browse

BOOK WEEK - NEW ADDITION TO THE LIBRARY FAMILY

We have a name: Welcome to Jellybean.

Thank you to Mrs Gwatkin for the colourful addition to the library. In keeping with the theme, our "friend" is certainly very curious and wild.

LIBRARY BAGS MATTER

Food and drink is for the chooks

Library bags keep ‘em clean

Books are cool don’t treat ‘em mean.

Bring your bag everytime

Fill it up and get in line.

Have it scanned and scoot on out
