Student of the Week - 16/10/2020

Prep/1A - Isabella - For working so beautifully all week. You have been very motivated and focused, creating wonderful work. You should be very proud! 

Prep/1J - Harper - For excellent work during class activities this week and a positive start to Term 4! Well done Harper! 

1/2R - Lil -  For working cheerfully and cooperatively and trying hard to do her best. Keep up the great work Lil! 

2/3C - Jacob - Fantastic work all week Jacob. You are working hard in reading and writing. Keep it up! 

3/4S - Liam Y. - I love the way you are supporting your debate team, the Wacky Winners, and the great thought you are putting into your theme park project! 

3/4W - Jordan - Congratulations on applying your real life maths skills competently in our numeracy workshop. 

5/6H - Briley - For producing an excellent piece of work during the MICUPS activity; you thoughtfully ranked each statement, collated the data and accurately produced a graph in Excel. Well done Briley! 

5/6S - Charlie - For showing a responsible attitude and great organisational strategies as you efficiently managed your class workload, as well as writing and practising your arguments during the debating sessions. A fantastic effort! 

Music - Elijah - For having great rhythm on the drums during our “Walk Like a Dinosaur” session.  

Art - Tom M. - For producing a wonderful “Sunset” using crayons with warm colours and contrasting black. You applied the smudging technique to great effect. 

Science - Tyrell - For outstanding work in Science this week for the topic of Natural Disasters – Tornadoes. Tyrell displayed an outstanding work ethic and commitment during all learning activities. 

Values - Tamika - For modelling all of the school values, especially for being a good listener and a responsible learner.

1/2R - Asher - For making great progress with his reading and staying focused during Read To Self. 

2/3C - Harmony - Great improvement during “read-to-self" and “read-to-partner". You are becoming more confident with your reading. 

3/4S - Tyrell - For wonderful focus on your book throughout the week, and for having such a super attitude to reading! 

3/4W - Brody - Congratulations on reading in a confident manner all week.  

5/6H - Savina - For reading regularly throughout the day.

Prep/1J - Eloise - For excellent work during class activities this week and a wonderful costume for book week celebrations. Well done Eloise! 

1/2R - Caleb - For being caring and patient when he was helping some prep children with a Book Week craft activity. 

2/3C - Grace - A fantastic week of work. You apply yourself in all areas. Well done! 

3/4S - Kade - I have been so impressed hearing From Mrs Holmes about your responsible and respectful attitude this week Kade – a Huge WELL DONE! 

3/4W - Brody - Brody you are working well with a number line to compose equations to reach a target number. Well done! 

5/6H - Jade - For showing your understanding of how to appropriately revise your text by looking back over your piece of writing and figuring out different ways to set the scene by adding descriptive language. Great work Jade. 

5/6S - Jazmaine - For successfully completing a range of individual tasks and working cooperatively during group activities. You also showed great leadership skills in your role of debating chairperson. 

Music - Charlie J. - A great session Charlie. You sang enthusiastically and really enjoyed using the percussion instruments. Well done!

Art - Ryan - You created a bright and colourful snail. Your fine motor skills of cutting and pasting were excellent and you also managed yourself very well. Great work. 

Science - Asha P. - For outstanding work in Science this week for the topic of Natural Disasters. Holly has displayed outstanding work ethic and commitment during all learning activities. 

Values - Declan S. - For following school values and improving his emotional regulation under pressure. Declan has been a great listener and participator during all classroom learning activities this week.
