MCC Red Day
On Thursday, May 26th, the school participated in RED DAY - a day to raise funds for the Salvation Army Red Shield Appeal. Our students and teachers were dressed in a variety of red colors, and very eager to participate in the lunchtime activities.
All Gimmel students were absolute troopers in creating ideas for stalls, setting up, and driving the whole afternoon. Our fundraiser activities included: Face painting and temporary tattoos, Red velvet cupcakes (which sold out quickly!), Lucky Dip, Red Smoothies, and Pasta and Sauce - a favourite!
All together, we raised over seven hundred dollars for the Salvation Army Red Shield. Great work everyone!
