Alumnae Gen Day 

On Sunday 15 May 2022, 180 Genazzano alumnae united at the College to celebrate Alumnae Gen Day. The event was filled with smiles and laughter as alumnae from 1950 to 2020 (including current parents, FCJ Sisters and FCJ Board members) shared memories and reminisced about their experiences at Gen.  

This year, the special day in our alumnae calendar included the opportunity for the missed reunion groups in 2020 and 2021 to join in the celebrations, with the classes of 1980, 1981, 1990, 1991, 2000, 2001, 2010, 2011, 2019 and 2020 invited back to reconnect with their peers. 

The morning began with a shared Eucharist in the College Chapel, followed by light refreshments in the Madeleine Centre for Music and the Performing Arts. We also acknowledged 2021 Outstanding Alumna, Elizabeth (Libby) Murphy for her long and distinguished career in the public service and offered principal led tours of the grounds and buildings. 

The celebration wrapped up with take home Gen chocolate chip cookies (our own special recipe) and the chance to look through archived photos and yearbooks. This significant day for our alumnae community is not to be missed and we encourage you join us and save the date for the 2023 Alumnae Gen Day on Sunday 30 April at 10.00am.
