Minnie Vinnies Fundraiser 

Wow! We are in awe! Our community has raised a massive  $3,175 for St Joseph's in Murwillumbah Sth. We want to thank everybody, students, parents, grandmas, grandpas, neighbours and staff for joining in the effort of raising so much money. 

On Tuesday, Andrew and I spoke with Tony Davis, the deputy principal of St Joseph's. He told us that there were many families who were still living in caravans. Many pets were living in kennels as they are not allowed in the caravans. Unfortunately,  the students have just been told that their school camp has been cancelled due to the camp is still used for emergency accommodation. All the money that you have donated is truly going to a worthy cause. 

Our School Captains have written a letter to the community of St Joseph's.

Why We Donated Money to St Joseph's?

As a school, we decided to donate money to Saint Joseph’s because they have recently had two destructive floods that have destroyed most of their school. The money that has been donated is going to be spent on Woolworths and Coles vouchers. The vouchers will then be sent to the school. From there, these vouchers will find their way to the families who are most in need. We have truly made a difference to people who are experiencing hardship.
