Principal's Report

End of term!

We are finally here, the end of term!

It has been a term filled with new and unexpected challenges, however there is much that can be celebrated. We have had weeks where around 60 students have been absent due to illness and up to 30% of our staff away also. This has made for some unique challenges that we have all had to tackle head on.

The agility and flexibility from everyone over this term, has ensured that we have been able to continue learning and make it to this point. Everyone is extremely deserving of the mid-year break and we trust that everyone will be making the most of it with family and friends.

Thank you to all of our families who have been getting involved and supporting our many community events this term. Whether it was folding paper planes for our Fathering Project event, working on fundraising or having a ball at the Ladies Lunch - your contribution is significant and goes a long way to our post-COIVID recovery and further strengthening of our community. Stay tuned for the many opportunities to get involved next term and beyond because it does take a village (community) to raise a child.

Next term will be soon upon us. With so much in store, it is going to be nothing short of an awesome term where we all get to grow and learn some more. We have a number of excursions set for next term, our swimming program is back, as well as Year 3/4 camp plus so much more! There will be many newsfeeds and events coming through Compass, feel free to contact our admin team to get any further clarifications of things coming up.

Have a wonderful break!

See you all next term!
