Holiday clean out for the Festival of Hidden Treasures

If you are spending time cleaning out the cupboards during the winter break can I ask you to set aside items for our Hidden Treasures Fair on Saturday 15 October.  We will be looking for good, saleable condition items that can be sold as part of our fundraising efforts:

  • Pre-school books
  • Children's books
  • Teenage and Adult books
  • Jigsaw puzzles
  • Board games
  • Toys - baby, toddler and children's
  • Clean, empty sealable jars for Lucky Jar stall, or items that would fit into a jar for the stall

We will be taking collections of these starting from Tuesday 12 July.

Call out for Second-Hand uniform items.

Thank you to families for donating uniform items that your child has grown out of.  If you are sorting drawers and wardrobes, then we would love to add them to our second hand supplies.

ICAS Assessments

ICAS Assessments are again available to students and families from Grade 2 to Grade 6. These international assessments are optional and are paid for by parents. ICAS is an online academic competition that is designed to assess students’ higher order thinking and problem-solving skills in English, Mathematics, Science, Writing, Spelling Bee and Digital Technologies. Each assessment celebrates students’ accomplishments by providing opportunities for recognition and development. Every student who participates will receive a printed certificate and an online results report. Top performers will be eligible for medals.   For more information check out the website, and a Compass notice is on its way:
