Erika Sullivan

Leadership Role:  Girl's School Captain

 

Interests: Dance, Art, Cooking, Science Studies, Community Service and being involved in my community.

 

Post School Aspirations:  I wish to study dance after school for a couple of years.  After I would like to go to university to study to become a chiropractor.

 

How has Cowra High School facilitated your learning over the last 5 years to be successful?

Cowra High has given me many opportunities, especially within leadership roles and extra curricular activities such as the fantastic dance program we have.  Cowra High offers so much and this has allowed me to try everything and spread my wings across many different subjects and future career pathways.

Sam Long

Leadership Role: Boy's Captain

 

Interests:  History , particularly Ancient Rome/Politics, Cricket, Soccer and Basketball (NBA)

 

Post School Aspirations:  Attend university, hopefully in Canberra to study in the field of Economics/Politics.  I hope to one day be able to work in this sphere, influencing policy and trying to make a difference in people's lives.

 

How has Cowra High School facilitated your learning over the last 5 years to be successful?  Cowra High has always been flexible in terms of each person student.  I have always been able to whatever opportunity I like because the teachers can accommodate any time away or the like.  They have also been willing to extend me by the way of extra work or a more challenging standard.

Victoria King

Leadership Role:  Girl's Vice Captain

 

Interests:  Staying active by dancing, playing sport, performing drama and dance.

 

Post School Aspirations:  Attend university and potentially do courses such as communication and media as well as law.

 

How has Cowra High School facilitated your learning over the last 5 years to be successful?  Cowra High has given me many opportunities such as participating  in sporting events , performances such as Schools Spectacular and the State Dance Festival as well as public speaking and leadership opportunities. 

Noah Ryan

Leadership Role:  Boys Vice Captain

 

Interests:  Rugby League and Tennis

 

Post School Aspirations:  I hope to attend university and become a teacher.

 

How has Cowra High School facilitated your learning over the last 5 years to be successful?  Cowra High has given me the opportunity to participate in many sporting teams.  cowra High has also given me the opportunity to achieve academically as the school provides a wide range of subjects.

Lochie Wilson

Leadership Role:  Vice Captain

 

Interests:  Rugby League and Union, Soccer, Basketball, Motorbike Riding, Farming, Swimming and Whip Cracking.

 

Post School Aspirations:  Go to university and study Ag Science at either Charles Sturt University Wagga Wagga or University of New England Armidale.  If I  don't get into uni next year, i will have a Gap Year to work as a Jackaroo on a farm.

 

How has Cowra High School facilitated your learning over the last 5 years to be successful?

Cowra High has given me many opportunities that I am grateful to have taken either in the classroom or outside the classroom through representing the school in sport.  What I have learnt over the years has been beneficial to who I am as a person today.
